In article a method of learning the basics of the theory of technical systems for the future engineers and educators are substantiated. The author developed a structural and functional model of the method of learning the basics of the theory of technical systems of the future engineers and educators based on activity approach and the use of basic forms of thinking (concepts, judgments, conclusions) and basic thinking operations (comparisons, highlighting the essential, abstraction, generalization, specification, classification, analysis , synthesis)
