INFORMATION AND ANALYTICAL ACTIVITIES OF THE MODERN LIBRARY

Abstract

Theses consider information and analytical activities of libraries, the result of which are information and analytical products and services provided by libraries and information services. In particular, it is noted that the V. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Educational Library (SSEL) operates a Department of Scientific Information and Analytical Support for Education. It is emphasized that modern library institutions should become scientific centers capable of providing customers with not only information material but also analytical, prognostic and other products, turning into sources of intellectual resources, providing information and analytical services not only for readers.
